A Chronological Overview
1999 - 2006
Early Years and Expansion
At Royal Gate Group, our journey began in 1999 with a vision to revolutionize the food distribution industry in Nigeria. Founded as a food bulk distribution company, we started by providing essential FMCG products to meet the growing demands of households and businesses across the nation.
Within just a few years, our commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication propelled us to new heights. By 2001, we had become synonymous with quality and reliability, earning the trust of prominent flour mills companies and establishing ourselves as a household name in major cities across Nigeria and West African subregions.
2006 - 2012
Diversification and Subsidiary Establishment
Recognizing the critical role of haulage and logistics in the distribution of bulk foods nationwide, Royal Gate established a subsidiary company named 'Royal Gate Auto Truck and Haulage Services' in 2006. In 2012, Royal Gate diversified into the petroleum market retail sector by registering 'Royal Gate Petrol Gas Limited.'
The company swiftly commenced operations with the construction of gas stations, including a state-of-the-art facility along Ayetoro Road, Abeokuta. During this period, Royal Gate also established several subsidiary companies, each specializing in specific sectors of the economy.

Reflecting its diversified interests and expanding portfolio, Royal Gate Commercial Company underwent a metamorphosis to become "Royal Gate Group," signifying its evolution into a conglomerate with interests spanning across various sectors.
Our Growth
Continued Growth and Achievements
Royal Gate's commitment to growth and innovation led to significant achievements, including leasing petrol stations as part of the expansion program for Royal Gate Petrol Gas. Another milestone was the registration with Dangote Petroleum Refinery, enabling the company to lift Petroleum Products to all petrol stations in Nigeria and beyond.
